In the box are some jam sandwiches, hard boiled egg with soya sauce in container, mangosteen fruits and cereal bites.
Used a metal cookie cutter to get the shape of the rabbit.

Perhaps it’s the vibrant contrast of orange and black colours or the cute craved out pumpkins, here’s my take with Halloween. We don’t actually celebrate Halloween here in Malaysia in a big way unlike the States, but there may be a private party or two organized by various groups. How F-U-N being able to pound on doors and demand for sweets, treats and stuff!!! Aaah, how I wish I was a kid again!! Ha ha ha
Anyway, in this box are leftover sweet and sour pork, fish cakes, cucumber sticks and rice onigri. Pumpkin faces made out of carrot. Oh, in case you are wondering about the picks, made them – drew them on recycled paper and stuck them on normal tooth picks.
Not really a necessary to spend a lot of money with bento gadgets and tools. Just a few basic tools is fine – then its up to your imagination and creativity to dress a bento up or recycle simple things you have around. Of course cool bento gadgets/tools are great to have around and also convenient but they are not really a necessity if you know what I mean. *Btw, this comment is to encourage those starting out or trying to minimize expenditure/clutter - after all what's really important is that your child eats healthily or if you are the one consuming, that you are are inspired and satisfied when you eat!*
Personally have a mile long wish list of bento tools and accessories of 'nice' to have ;)

I agree with you, we don't need all those gadgets, but oh my, why are they so tempting ?

Hi Diana, gadgets are definitely cool, kawaii-cute and usually convenient to shape or cut things. Many clever people out there inventing things to make life easier.
Thinking about it, I don't believe you use many accessories in your bentos and they are all very creative - as I normally say, pieces of art!! Keep it up, your bentos always suprises & wow's me.
