We all have 'weird' preferences for something at some point of time or rather. For Master Prince, he currently likes mashed eggs with honey!! I'm not a honey fan so find this mixture a little too odd for my liking but hey, as long as he polishes it up and is happy, I'm fine with it.In this box is some mashed eggs with honey, jam filled sandwich, cucumber slices, papayas and small tub of cereal.
This is how the bento looks like before putting the cover-lid on top.
Bento #250
In this box is some stir fry Chrysanthemum greens (we call it 'tong ho' in Cantonese), pan fried fish marinated with curry powder, steam herbal chicken and rice. Personally don't fancy tong ho because of the bitter taste but suppose to be good for you as it is rich in vitamins. At least MP shares my view (for now, who knows he may fancy some later)

haha....mashed egg with honey is really weird heh :D
my boys like mashed egg too but with soya sauce & dash of pepper, normal rite?
btw, thks for teaching me how to say 'tong ho' in english...haha
jacss, how are u going? hope to read more updates from u.
MP just loves honey and seems to be having a craving for eggs lately. Guess its his personal recipe n taste. It started out with him having a serve with soya sauce then wanting another but this time with honey.
had to actually look up for the english translation - ha ha. hey u are not alone, quite a few people I asked also didn't know. all seem to know it by 'tong ho'.
Hi, I wonder how you made the sandwich, is it sealed ?
Hi Diana, the sandwich is sealed using two cookie cutters of the same shape but different size. Actually there is a 'gadget' which is on my bento wish list which allows you to do this for a square otherwise can use the multi heart or star cookie cutters. Will update by posting a pix later.
ok, I know which cookie cutters you mean I think. So that's the explanation ;-) Here in France we see the square ones (panda sandwich maker) a lot on bento blogs, but I want to try out first without buying something. I saw on a video on "just bento" a woman making a sealed sandwich just with a plastic box ! Thanks a lot for your explanation !
Di, if you have the heart or star shape cutters, u can try this. Sandwich two pieces of bread by putting larger cutter on top and next smaller one under neath. Cut the bread with larger cutter. Gently imprint the bread with smaller one.
Think i saw the square bread gadget in one of the french bento blogsites. But hey, using plastic box is a great idea, tks for sharing that tip!!
