CNY cookies Part III - Almond cookies

This is the household favourite. Recipe was shared by M's good's friend Cornie. Hm, maybe I should change it to Cornie's Almond Cookies!!

While she generously shared and even showed me how to make them, somehow still can't replicate her perfect texture and shape - she uses a cookie presser (my dough usually gets stuck in the funnel or comes out funny, sigh).

Oh well, we got no complaints as we like the recipe and always get a tub from her every year anyway!!!

I LOVE almond cookies! They're the only nonchocolate cookie I like as much as chocolate chip cookies! Yours look awesome, so jealous, I wish I was on your cookie delivery list :)

I now remember why I don't look at your blog during work - it makes me so **** hungry.

Pics always look amazing - note to self to find a partner that bakes cookies and multi-layered jelly.

KitchenAid vs Kenwood - the old Kenwood with the glass bowl (hard to find) was very tough - the glass bowl kept the temperature more constant which is important for items that need to stay cool or hot. Surprise you can even lift the KitchenAid.

What food processor (if any) do you use?

tks Susan, so many variety available but we like simple easy recipes :)

sheri, ur sweet. we've actually started munching on cny snacks and cookies, which is bad cos feeling a sore throat coming oredi.

chewy, so nice of u to drop a comment (took u long enuf!!) ha ha. Grew up with Kenwood but was curious with KA which seem to look more sleek + > selction of colours. Currently own a KA but still getting used to it since more familiar with Kenwood. Obvious difference is the motor for Kenwood is on right while KA is on left which makes me think maybe the latter is easier for lefthanded pple or is that the other way around??
