Panic Pizza

First stop.

One of the TOP food items on my "MUST EAT LIST" in Oz is the humble but very tasty pizzas.

Since we were at the mall, we settled for this small place located at Pines Stockland.

80, Stockland the Pines, 181 Reynolds Road Victoria

The size of the pans/pizza helped a lot in deciding which to order.

After some time mulling (cos they all sounded really nice), ended up with Capricciosa comprising of tomato sauce, ham, mushroom and olive. They also have gourmet pizzas but thought D wouldn't enjoy them, hence why I was forced to be less adventurous!

But the La paesana with sun dried tomato, eggplant, olives, garlic, oregano and tomato sauce sounds yummy.
OR perhaps the Ortolana with mushroom, roasted capsicum, zucchini, eggplant, garlic, oregano and tomato sauce ~ ooh, love roasted capsicum, zucchini and eggplant!!
MAYBE Il giardino with eggplant, roasted capsicum, zucchini, sun dried tomato, garlic, oregano and tomato sauce ~ hm....like sun dried tomatoes too!!
*darn, am regretting big time now that I didn't try one of these gourmet pizza - pouting*

As for Master Prince, since he likes plain cheesy pizza - ordered Margarita consisting of tomato sauce, cheese and oregano.

BUT guess what MP ate instead - he had the Capricciosa including the olives (which he usually avoids). Asking him why he likes it, he answered its because it has lots of yummy HAM and CHEESE!!

The pizza was indeed very cheesy and not to mention again super yummy & satisfying (no one wanted to take a picture because our hands and mouth were full and the overflowing & melted cheese was just getting a little crazy to manage - twirl it around your finger like bubble gum???)! BUT oh so delicious. *sigh...am experiencing some pizza blue withdrawals writing this up now*

Why do the pizzas taste great? Simple.....its because there's lots of HAM and lots of real CHEESE!!!! Not only that the quality and freshness of the ingredients used are just so much better than the ones we get back home.

Actually with all the different migrants from different countries living in Australia these days, its a no wonder Australia is a food haven!! For pizzas and pasta, just close your eyes and grab from ANY restaurant or outlet and I'll bet it taste pretty good compared to the ones we usually get here (note again back to the 'secret' ingredients above)!
