Bentos # 250 & 251

Bento #251

We all have 'weird' preferences for something at some point of time or rather. For Master Prince, he currently likes mashed eggs with honey!! I'm not a honey fan so find this mixture a little too odd for my liking but hey, as long as he polishes it up and is happy, I'm fine with it.

In this box is some mashed eggs with honey, jam filled sandwich, cucumber slices, papayas and small tub of cereal.

This is how the bento looks like before putting the cover-lid on top.

Bento #250

DH's 'manly' bento, without any frills - just LARGE portions tks!! Ha ha

In this box is some stir fry Chrysanthemum greens (we call it 'tong ho' in Cantonese), pan fried fish marinated with curry powder, steam herbal chicken and rice. Personally don't fancy tong ho because of the bitter taste but suppose to be good for you as it is rich in vitamins. At least MP shares my view (for now, who knows he may fancy some later)

Local Stall @ Shaw Parade

Shaw Parade is located at the Golden Triangle at KL town centre, just behind Berjaya Times Square.

This is DH's favourite stall for curry wild boar.

Thank goodness we went there for an early dinner since the stall is an open al fresco style concept under a big tree. Can imagine it must be super hot during lunch time without any fan or air conditioner!!

We ordered 2 types of herbal soups to share, wild boar curry and stewed ginger chicken.

I was only so-so on the wild boar curry, preferred it cooked at another restaurant which DH hasn't been to. Will blog about this another time as this place closes on Sunday which is a bit of an inconvenience for a re-visit.

The last dish which came pretty late but nonetheless the braised preserved vegetables and pork was very tasty. The layers of fat really melt in the mouth!!

Updated - I think the soup has too much msg (which is a pity as it was packed to the brim with a generous cut of chicken) or it could be the other dishes or combination of dishes as I felt VERY thirsty after that.
