Square burgers

Decided to give this place a go. Master Prince was very excited and happy....especially when it comes to fast food joints. If only we could replicate the same enthusiasm for his everyday food!!

The outlet in Jaya One was very new and trendy.

Square patties.....uniquely available only at Wendy's (sorry for bad pix, light was a little dim). Wondering whether it is a marketing strategy. Well, round or square...the main test is still the taste.

The burger looks different with a square patty and cornmeal dusted buns. Otherwise, it is very similar to a burger from Burger King. Taste-wise, they were rather dry and bland. I suppose if you really want juicy burgers, the only way is to go gourmet or make them yourselves!!

Fries-wise, a far cry from those available from golden arches.

It started a couple of months ago, DH was getting paranoid as to why MP's baby teeth was still intact. DH was afraid something was 'abnormal' with MP - hah....not less than one week after his paranoia, MP discovered something 'milky'.

What was it??? A new tooth growing. Of course with the new tooth pushing his old baby tooth, his baby tooth started getting shaking and wobbly. After 2 weeks or more, it finally came out....many thanks to Mua for the final yank!! Well, it was very loose by then - yep, obscenely loose if you know what I mean!! Well, it being the first...MP didn't know what (experiencePAIN) to expect. Hopefully he'll understand the importance of brushing and keeping his teeth clean and healthy!

We tried wrapping the loose tooth with string/floss but let's just say that I'm no scout and not an expert with strings or ropes. Basically, it was almost impossible as the baby tooth was so small and not to mention slippery. Best tool IMHO is a folded tissue and a short and quick count down!!

MP was scared and excited at the same time...his first baby tooth out. We had plans for the whole tooth fairy thing but somehow we forgot....we'll wait for the next one ok?

Side note - interestingly his good friend, Jon who is also the same age lost the same tooth around the same time as MP! What a coincidence huh?
