Roll out to a rectangular shape. Cut the 'wings' equally on both sides.
Start the the braid folding, keeping it consistent and neat as possible.
Final product ready for proofing.
A golden braid, filled with cream cheese and blueberry filling.
Big thumbs up. I adapted the recipe to suit what I had in the fridge.Note to self - cream the cream cheese next time for a softer creamier finish!! I was lazy here, just cut up the cream cheese into small bits and scattered it around. If you have a sweet tooth, can add some sugar whilst creaming the cream cheese. I didn't as I thought my blueberry filling would compensate for the sweetness. Next time, will definitely do the extra step!!
With the extra dough, I also made some chocolate and cinnamon swirls. They are a little darker than what I would have liked because I was distracted with something on TV!!To solve the side distraction, I think I need a TV in the kitchen! Ha ha
Side notes - Do not overproof the bread! As each kitchen temperature is different, use the times provided in recipes as a guide.

Wow! Looks good! Will try it out, maybe with choc and strawberry a good idea too?
Hi PP, choc & strawberries are a timeless combination, the tartness of the strawberry will probably pair very well with sweetness of the chocolate. Then again, maybe I'd probably just use pure chocolate block for centre and then serve the fresh strawberries on the side (just to make sure I don't feel so guilty indulging) ha ha!
BTW, love your blog. Can't view most of your pix (not your fault); no worries as I enjoy reading your postings!!
