Ah-B @ Seapark

Simplicy at its best....
You may not know this but A-Wah ko's parter, Ah-B has set up on his own....his hokkien char promises to be full of wok-hei, mighty tasty if you ask me - I'll blog more about this another time as this time, we went for his tai-chow. Note though that his menu is somewhat limited, which can be expected since his noodles are his main forte and fame.

Marmite chicken.

Sweet and sour pork. Erm, we had to order another SSP since it was too hot for Master Prince.

Mien Hoon Kuey @ Northern Taste

If there is one dish I would say is my favourite, it would be this dish...MHK aka pan-mee. I could practically live on it EVERYDAY, if they make it properly, i.e. the ikan billis soup should be clear and sweet (minus MSG) and the texture of the noodles, velvety, smooth and slightly chewy. Food at its humble simplicity is the best, IMHO.

I enjoy the MHK at this place. They serve the condiments on the side which is great if you like your ikan billis crunchy. This shop located at Sea Park is clean and functional. Being a family owned restaurant, the meals cooked here exudes a home-cooked feel and taste.

Not forgetting, their homemade belacan chilli is also very fragrant. I always need more than what they normally serve.
