All in a bag Roast Chicken

Simple roast chicken, with surprisingly good results!

All thanks to Continental Cook-in-Bag, tonight's dinner was really fuss free.

Rub some salt inside the chicken. Decided to stuff some spring onions and hot lemon (Jamie Oliver's tip) inside the cavity of the chicken. Put everything into the bag including the vegetables (potatoes and carrot), sprinkle the seasoning which comes with the bag and give it a few good hard shakes.

Tie it up and put in pre-heat oven and bake for 1 hour. Make sure you make sufficient space in the oven as the bag will balloon out a little while baking.

To check if chicken is cooked, make sure that the internal cooked chicken reaches 160C degrees.

This chicken was unbelievably tender and juicy even the chicken breast meat!

Definitely advocate roasting chicken with the bag! The only thing I have to gripe is that the premix seasoning was a little strong in paprika taste. Hm, wonder if they only sell that special bag?
