It happens (....sometimes)

Once, I owned a nice shiny stainless steel pot.

Now....the exterior of the pot has turned slightly coppery-yellow!!

Yep, guess what happened this morning - and I was wondering where the funny smell came from and what-on-earth our the neighbour was up to so early in the morning!! ha ha ha Recalled a similar incident also occurred with angeleye's hubby *sigh*

Needless to say, when the horror realization suddenly dawned upon me that it could be from my own kitchen, I almost jump downstairs 5 steps at a time, rushing to a slightly smoky kitchen.

Black-bottoms chocolate cakes are a wonderful sight, can't say the same for black (& burnt) bottom pots! Lolz

Lesson learnt: try not to multi-task too many things especially if still sleepy & blur-blur in the morning!! Actually, had a few things in my mind this morning and was especially distracted as I couldn't find something.

haiz.....so I got a black yellow pot but no breakfast :(

Mothering Mothers 2009

Playing a very small part for the charity event 'Mothering Mothers 2009'. The event is to honour dedicated mothers with terminally ill children at the UM Hospital.

Based on the list of suggested gifts, I decided to pack some cookbooks, notebook, pen, note/picture holder and some muchies. I know the orgnisers prefer non-perishable items but just couldn't resist - thought something to nibble for tea to have energy to sustain the long day at the hospital.
